33 Artist Market and Friends of Manito present the Manito Art Festival Saturday, June 13, 2026. I will be there from 10am-6pm with my prints, cards, and some hot off the easel original paintings. Food trucks, music, children’s activities and more. Expect to see over a 100 artist from the greater Spokane Area!
Katie Frey is a Spokane artist who works in acrylic and watercolor and primarily paints landscapes and animals. She has been teaching and creating art in Spokane for almost 20 years. She paints with bright colors and expressive lines. The subject matter is planned, but everything else is intuitive: purple shadows, tangled plants, a landscape disintegrating into the abstract. Katie wants her art to be warm and invigorating; to look as spontaneous and joyful as it feels when she creates it.
