Plein Air Pals - James T Slaven Conservation Area

$45.00

Join me Tuesday, September 1 at the James T. Slaven Conservation Area for our last Plein Air Pals meet-up from 2-5pm.

The James T. Slavin Conservation area is a marshland about ten miles outside of Spokane. It has a beautiful view, birch and pine trees, and lots of waterfowl.

Please note: You will need to be able to walk approximately a 1/2 mile on a mostly flat trail carrying your art supplies, water, chair, and easel (if you use one). I suggest a backpack and easy to carry chair.

There is no water at the conservation area! Bring water to drink and to clean your brushes, if you are painting.

There is a port-o-potty at the trail head, but nothing out at the marsh.

Located at: 2900 S. Keeney Rd., Spokane, WA 99224

Head South from Spokane on 195 towards Spangle / Pullman. Take a Right onto E. Washington Road. At the Y take a Right again onto S. Keeney Road and the parking lot/ trail head will be on your immediate Left. We will meet in the parking lot at 2:00 and hit the trail ASAP.
